SMED - Scrivere a Mano nell'Era Digitale is the association that promotes the knowledge and practice of handwriting in Italy.

SMED, literally writing by hand in the digital age is more than a name, it is a program. SMED wants to contribute to the individual and collective rediscovery of the pleasure of writing by hand and protect access to this skill by enhancing its pedagogical and expressive function.
